Thunder MT is the latest and most powerful laser created by the leading global company Quanta System. It is the only device on the market combining three technologies: alexandrite laser (755nm), Nd:YAG (1064nm) and mixed technology (755nm +1064nm). The innovative system allows you to choose a single or dual emission laser beam.
The patented MIXED technology enables the simultaneous use of both lasers, which significantly increases the effectiveness and safety of the treatment. The mixed technology achieves excellent efficacy also on light hair or with dark phototypes.

By using a super elliptical spot shape, the treatment area is more precisely covered and the spots minimally overlap, minimising the risk of burns while maintaining a consistent energy density.
The mix technology, allows a treatment for each phototype. Depending on the skin colour and melanin content, the use of the alexandrite laser alone may be too aggressive and the use of the Nd:YAG laser alone may be insufficient and quite painful. The simultaneous use of both lasers increases treatment efficiency and safety. The risk of side effects such as burning or blistering is greatly minimised.

The melanin in the hair bulb absorbs the laser radiation and heat is produced which destroys the structures responsible for hair formation and growth. The thermal energy must be delivered in an appropriate manner so as to selectively damage the hair follicle pad and papilla – without damaging the skin.

On the day before or a few hours before the treatment, the selected part of the body should be shaved, leaving a small patch of skin 2cm x 2cm so that the cosmetologist can select the right laser parameters for the colour, thickness and density of the hair. Do not use creams, lotions or other lubricants immediately before the treatment.
To achieve the desired effect and depending on the treatment area, a different number of treatments should be performed at different intervals. There are usually 6 to 8 sessions. However, it is important to remember that the number of treatments depends on a person’s individual predisposition.

The combination of two wavelengths – an Alexandrite laser (755nm) and an Nd:YAG (1064nm) – ensures that the light beam acts at the appropriate level of the skin. The alexandrite laser has a 25% higher affinity for melanin compared to the diode laser. And the use of the Nd:YAG laser causes damage to the vessels responsible for nourishing the hair, as well as absorbing water, which undergoes significant heating. As a result, the structures responsible for hair growth are removed.
