Before the treatment, a consultation is necessary, during which a treatment programme is established depending on the skin condition, type and intensity of vascular lesions. During the laser vascular closure procedure the patient’s eyes are protected by protective glasses. During the treatment, the laser light is accumulated in the blood pigment haemoglobin and converted into heat energy, which damages the vessel walls and closes them from the inside.

The treatment takes between 20 minutes and an hour depending on the location of the treated area.
