Tattoo removal - PicoClear

Thanks to modern equipment, the removal of a tattoo – even a coloured one – or permanent make-up is completely safe and makes it possible to achieve the desired results with fewer treatments. PicoClear is the latest laser platform developed by high profile company Alma Lasers.

It is a picosecond laser with the highest power. It combines four wavelengths: Nd:Yag 1064nm, KTP 532 nm, 585nm and 650 nm. It is the most effective device on the market – it delivers up to 300 short, picosecond pulses. It is a fractional laser that is ideal for removing any colour of tattoo or permanent make-up. We are the first clinic in Poland to offer the PicoClear procedure!

Compared to competing technologies- PicoClear achieves the highest peak power. Advanced applicators allow the selection of 9 spot sizes and thus the appropriate laser beam parameters. Furthermore, the use of two additional applicators CLEAR-Y & CLEAR-R , with wavelengths of 585 nm and 650 nm, enables the effective removal of coloured tattoos.

CLEAR-Y- works on light blue; CLEAR-R works on green and turquoise.

How does this device work?

The laser reaches the deep layers of the skin where the pigment is located. Following the shortest pulse duration, the ink is broken down into ultra-fine particles. As a result, these particles are removed from the body via the lymphatic system. Furthermore, PicoClear minimises the risk of side effects as well as reducing the sensation associated with the laser.
