What’s more, the hair on the pubic crest is usually a bit thicker than on the rest of the body. Bikini epilation – what does the procedure look like and how to prepare?
Before the laser intimate hair removal procedure, we do not need to prepare specially. However, be sure to give up sunbathing a few weeks beforehand. The skin should also be clean and dry. So we don’t use lotions, creams or self-tanner.
The bikini laser elimination procedure itself takes approx. 15-20 minutes. The procedure is therefore much faster than hair removal by other available methods. During classical epilation, the procedure is performed in underwear. In the case of deep and classic bikini, it is necessary to expose the depilated parts of the body.
A common question is whether bikini epilation is painful. Well, during the procedure, the type and power of the laser is selected individually, depending on the skin phototype and hair color. As a result, the risks associated with the procedure are virtually eliminated. The area subjected to the laser beam is constantly cooled, so the only sensations during irradiation are possible pinching, heat, stinging. However, it is not a pain, especially comparing epilation to hair removal with wax patches.
When will the effects appear? How many times does the treatment need to be repeated?
Even after the first treatment, hair weakens, falls out and stops growing back. Repetitions are necessary, however, due to the phases of the hair growth cycle, so that the laser captures every hair currently in the growth phase.
The number of treatments is always determined individually, taking into account hair type and skin color. However, 6-8 treatments are usually recommended, which in the case of the bikini are repeated every 6 weeks most often, depending on the device chosen.
