The operation of the Q-Switched laser is based on a beam of light of variable length. The device is characterized by excellent precision, thanks to which it works only on the tattoo area, without affecting the surrounding tissues in any way. This is a guarantee of safety. The light pulse used is very powerful, which ensures that the dye molecules are broken down and, consequently, get rid of the ink from the skin. The wavelength is selected in terms of the color of the ink with which the tattoo was made, bearing in mind that black and generally dark tattoos are easier to remove, while light and bright colors usually require more treatments.
